Half of the grapes from a single vineyard underwent carbonic maceration (whole bunch fermentation) and eight months’ maturation in new French oak. 100% Merlot.
Ripe mulberry, mint and stemmy flavours mingle pleasantly with light smokiness from the oak. The palate is characterised by firm, ripe tannins and there is a hint of chocolate on the aftertaste.
