The 2003 Villiera Cabernet Sauvignon has classic Cabernet characteristics, leafy edged, with whiffs of tobacco, cedar and subtle earth infusions overlaying red currant and cassis fruit.
Medium bodied this has a soft entry that really expands and picks up momentum as it moves through the palate, offering up sweet red currant fruit in the mid palate with a touch of herb and cedar spice surfacing up through the fine grained tannins on the finish.
More about refinement than power this still has good depth and structure and should drink well over the next 3-4 yeas with ease.
